The Port Macquarie Arboretum Parkland is centrally located between the CBD and the Kooloonbung Creek Nature Park.

This project involved the installation of the landmark Water Dragon Sculpture, improvements to connectivity, picnic facilities and interpretation and way-finding signage. Myrtle Studio presented the project to the Parks and Leisure Australia Conference of 2019 with particular focus on the complex community consultation process.
