Town Green is the premier waterfront open space for the town of Port Macquarie. This project was Stage 1 of the master plan prepared for a foreshore walk from the Breakwall to Westport Park.

The upgrade included new shared pathways, landscaping, lighting and street furniture. Complex approvals processes were overcome to protect European heritage archaeology. The design was conceived so that the space had maximum flexibility for a range of annual events. The materials and design thematics were used to continue the walkway along the western foreshore in 2020.
